Alex designed our new dream home project with incredible speed and efficiency. He has extensive knowledge of all the relevant requirements and was very patient responsive to all of our requests as clients. Receiving Alex’s quick responses to our emails and calls during the process really allowed us to reduce the time it would otherwise have taken to lodge our development application. The application was comprehensive and complete enough that council granted approval in less than a month. The detailed drawings have been invaluable during construction. Beyond the creative skills needed to take our long list of requirements and formulate a practical design, Alex also guided us through the entire process, efficiently referring us to the various consultants needed to contribute their specialised skills. Alexander was incredibly responsive and efficient to work with. I confess we changed and then tweaked our design countless times. Each time Alexander actioned our requests, explaining the pros and cons our modifications presented. I think the final design that was built from was the 14th version! Considering the service provided, his price was very reasonable.

If you are looking for an architect that works with you all of the way then Alex is the person to deal with, anything that we wanted to make work Alex would always try to accommodate it without an instant no but with a for and against explanation, he helped us from the start all the way until our DA was approved. I also liked the fact he would prepare you with what was required next to continue the DA process so nothing stalled in the process. An architect who returns all calls and emails and provides a very prompt service, happy to recommend him for everything.

I want to say how incredibly timely and punctual Alex was with all correspondence, he took my calls and gave so much of his time, he understood my vision with respect the design and the (especially / eventually) budget, and he stuck with me when I had questions and needed assistance after he had finished the work. Alex understood I was a novice and was patient with me, explained so much of the process, he designed not one but 2 beautiful functional spaces that were just what I asked for – but mainly he was up front about who he was at the beginning, and that we would work together, i.e. not hold each other up, keep it going and be a team in that way. Generally, Alex was just a pleasure to work with and someone who was recommended to me, whom I would recommend wholeheartedly.

Alex has done the plans for two houses for my Husband and I which were submitted to Council for DA approval. The first was a terrace in Surry Hills and the second, our current home in Randwick.
